Bubble tea and sushi roll lovers, this episode is for you! Kits By Food Craft is based in New York City. Aimee Moslares Aguirre, owner, brings people together by creating events in person and virtually with do it yourself kits. Her target market is corporate teams but you can go to her website and order for yourself or for a party of family and friends. She wants to promote diversity and culture in her work. She offers kits from bubble tea, hot sauce, cookies to more artistic ones like energy cleansing, suminagashi or moss wall art. Her goal is create joy and connection through shared experience.
Aimee also supports her AAPI Community! She works with Heart of Dinner in NYC. They are a fantastic organization that brings care packages to AAPI elders in the community. The bags are decorated with handwritten notes from volunteers to show support and help fight food insecurity and isolation, especially during the pandemic.
